EVENT / EXHIBITION

石川県金沢市を拠点に活動する、染色・刺繍作家の岸田志穂氏の個展を、縁煌/加賀依緑園（加賀市）にて開催いたします。
捺染、手刺繍で制作したアクセサリー・バックなどの布小物や額など、約１００点の出展を予定しております。
この機会にぜひご高覧賜りますようご案内申し上げます。

どこか懐かしい物語に出てくるような、野原や森、草花を想像しながら、布を染め糸を刺しています。
絵本の中にある様だけど、本当は過ごした日々の何処かでみて来たのかもしれないから、澄んだ匂いや頬にあたる空気を思い出して、少し懐かしい気持ちになったりしながら、制作してます。
新緑の季節のお供になるようなアクセサリーやお散歩にちょうど良いバックなどの布小物、森の物語を想像しながら制作した額や小箱などを展示いたします。（岸田志穂）

２０１２年　女子美術大学芸術学部工芸科 染専攻 卒業
２０１４年　金沢卯辰山工芸工房 入所
２０１７年　金沢卯辰山工芸工房 修了
金沢市にて、染色と刺繍による作品を製作。

We are pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Shiho Kishida, a dyeing and embroidery artist based in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, at Enikou/Kaga Irikouen (Kaga City).

Approximately 100 pieces will be exhibited, including accessories, bags, and other fabric items created with stencil printing and hand embroidery, as well as framed works. We sincerely invite you to take this opportunity to view her works.

I dye fabrics and embroider threads while imagining fields, forests, and flowers that seem to appear in nostalgic stories. Although they may look as if they belong in a picture book, they might actually be scenes I have seen in my everyday life. I create while recalling the clear scents and the air that touches my cheeks, which evokes a slightly nostalgic feeling. The exhibition will showcase fabric items such as accessories suitable for the fresh green season and bags perfect for a walk, as well as framed works and small boxes inspired by forest tales. 2014 Joined Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Workshop
2017 Completed Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Workshop
She produces works with dyeing and embroidery in Kanazawa City.
